Manufacturing battery components needs special skill and technique. Dimensional criticality and aesthetic sense all come into play in manufacturing battery components. Machine and process knowledge is required to maintain quality consistency and productivity.
So we have started an initiative of installing pick and place robotic arms on three machines manufacturing battery containers to avoid manual intervention. It has proved to be very effective in increasing productivity and maintaining quality consistency. We are planning parallel deployment along other machines.
